The Novatek 19IL Shrouded Scaler Package pairs an inline 19-needle scaler with a vacuum shroud enclosure (VSE) so dust is captured at the point of impact instead of going airborne. The inline body keeps the tool axis straight with the work surface, which helps operators reach into pipe runs, channel, angle iron, and tight structural pockets that a pistol grip cannot line up on. Each needle carries a 3mm chisel tip on a 7-inch shank, and the bundle conforms to irregular profiles as it strips coatings, rust, mill scale, and weld slag.
How the 19IL Inline Body Works in Confined Spaces
The inline layout puts the trigger behind the tool rather than under it, so the operator can push the needle pack straight down a flange or into a corner. The shroud surrounds the needle pack and connects to a HEPA vacuum through a 1.5-inch take-off, drawing removed material away as it is loosened. The front vacuum take-off is fully adjustable, letting you set the seal against flat panels, curved tank walls, or riveted joints. The 19-needle count keeps the tool lighter for longer hand-held runs.
