The MV00688-SS recovers spilled mercury into a 6-gallon stainless steel tank with a 20-pound activated charcoal bed that adsorbs mercury vapor from the exhaust. The smaller tank and lighter draw make it the portable choice for confined spaces and smaller recovery jobs where the 15-gallon units are more machine than the task needs. The stainless tank withstands decontamination between jobs.

MV00688-SS Applications and Environments
Hazmat responders and facility crews use this compact vacuum on smaller elemental mercury spills in schools, clinics, dental offices, and laboratories where a 15-gallon unit is oversized. Mercury reclaimers pulling from thermometers, switches, and small gauges rely on it for portable recovery in tight rooms. The wand set and crevice tool reach mercury caught in floor seams and equipment. NIKRO includes a 6-piece tool kit, and an approved mercury detection device should stay on hand during every job to confirm the vacuum and carbon filter are still capturing vapor.
