The NA 1520 is NaceCare's high-speed production burnisher — a 1.5 HP DC rectified motor driving a 20" pad at 1500 RPM through a multi-grooved belt drive system. At 112 lbs, the machine provides pad pressure that produces deep, wet-look gloss on VCT, terrazzo, and polished concrete without requiring a separate spray bottle pass. The 50' power cord and steel frame construction are built for daily use in schools, government buildings, and commercial office facilities.

Where 1500 RPM Burnishers Perform Best
High-speed burnishing is most productive on floors that carry daily foot traffic — school corridors, government building lobbies, retail grocery aisles, and hospital main corridors — where a single overnight burnishing pass restores the floor's wet-look finish before the building opens. The NA 1520's 1500 RPM speed generates enough frictional heat to melt and re-level floor finish polymer, producing a glass-like surface without spray buffing additives. The DC rectified motor draws fewer amps than equivalent AC motors at the same RPM, which is significant in older school and government facilities with limited amperage per circuit.
