Mosquito 900-0012 Scalloped Floor Head for Carpet and Large Debris

The 900-0012 is the Sidewinder scalloped floor head for Mosquito backpack vacuums. The open scalloped mouth has no bristle strip, so it clears carpet and picks up larger debris that a brush head would push around. It mounts on the Sidewinder wand alongside the brush and felt heads.

Mosquito 900-0012 Applications

Shipping & Returns

Free shipping on most brands for orders over $300, delivered to the lower 48 states. Any brand-specific freight rate is shown at checkout before you pay.

Processing & delivery: in-stock orders are processed within 1–2 business days and typically deliver in 5–7 business days. Tracking is emailed within 24 hours of shipment. Built-to-order equipment shows its lead time on this page.

Freight deliveries: inspect your equipment on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Items damaged in transit or defective on arrival are fully covered at no cost to you.

Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus a non-refundable payment processing fee, which may apply, so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.

Why does the 900-0012 have no bristles?
The open scalloped mouth keeps full airflow on carpet pile and larger debris. A bristle strip can push bulkier debris around, so the scalloped head clears it instead.
Is it for carpet or hard floors?
It works best on carpet, entry mats, and for picking up larger debris. For sealed hard floors, the felt or natural fiber head gives a cleaner glide.
