The Mosquito 500-0048 is the Cat Pump 500 PSI solution pump used on high-pressure Mosquito carpet extractors. Cat Pumps are a positive-displacement brass-head design built for long duty cycles, which is why restoration crews run them on machines that clean all day. Replacing a worn 500 PSI pump returns the extractor to full deep-rinse pressure.

Cat Pumps use a positive-displacement plunger head rather than a diaphragm.
