The Morantz DR-C Drye-Rite Cabinet uses convection air to dry compatible cleaned items inside an enclosed chamber. It also has built-in ozone deodorization and an interior humidity display. The cabinet is made for restoration contractors, blind cleaning services, facility managers, and parts-cleaning shops. It is built to order and ships in approximately 8 weeks.
Shelf layout, drying controls, and electrical requirements
The 44 by 22 by 61-inch interior contains 21 adjustable, interchangeable shelf rods. Installation requires one 240-volt, 20-amp, single-phase circuit and enough room for the 48 by 24 by 75.75-inch cabinet.
- The cabinet has 21 powder-coated shelf rods that can be moved or interchanged to suit different items.
- The patented heater circulates convection air through the cabinet using adjustable counterflow settings.
- Ozone deodorization is built into the cabinet.
- A process timer and automatic shut-off control the drying cycle.
- A digital hygrometer displays the humidity inside the cabinet.
- Illuminated controls and an interior light make the control panel and cabinet contents easier to see.
- Four 5-inch casters allow the cabinet to be repositioned before use.
Applications and installation
The DR-C gives restoration facilities an enclosed drying step after compatible contents have been wet-cleaned. Blind cleaning businesses can arrange cleaned items on the adjustable shelf rods and monitor the humidity inside the cabinet. Parts-cleaning shops can use it as a separate drying area for suitable components after washing and rinsing. Installation requires the specified 240-volt circuit and enough clearance for the cabinet.
