The QTKIT1800 services both the QT Lightning (QTL1800) and QT Hurricane (QTH24) — the two highest-output units in the Queenaire QT line, both rated at 1,800 mg/hr. The plate assembly is identical between the Lightning and Hurricane, so one kit covers both models regardless of the timer configuration difference between them.
What's Included
Full high-capacity ceramic ozone plate assembly and electrode components rated for 1,800 mg/hr output. These are the largest plate assemblies in the QT maintenance kit line — physically larger than the QTKIT1250 (Cyclone) and not interchangeable with any other QT kit. OEM Queenaire parts. Standard housing access installation procedure; no specialized tools required.

Maintenance Priority at Maximum Output
The Lightning and Hurricane operate at the highest sustained output in the QT series. Higher thermal loads mean plate degradation becomes detectable sooner than in lower-output QT models — in daily commercial use, check performance at 6 months and replace at 9–12 months rather than waiting the full annual interval. Operators running QT Hurricanes on automated 7-day schedules should track operating hours and replace on an hours-based schedule. Stock one QTKIT1800 per active unit to eliminate job delays when maintenance time comes.
