MA5X bulk oven and grill cleaner is a pH 13-14 liquid degreaser for commercial cooking equipment, grates, hood filters, and grease traps. The 55-gallon drum supplies high-volume kitchens with cleaner for multiple dispensing stations or facility locations. The transparent formula is fully water-soluble and removes accumulated grease before equipment is rinsed and returned to service.
MA5X 55-Gallon Drum and Caustic Cleaning Chemistry
MA5X combines strongly caustic cleaning chemistry with standard drum connections for storage and controlled dispensing. It is intended for trained commercial users who follow the product label and Safety Data Sheet.
- pH 13-14 liquid chemistry - removes heavy grease deposits from compatible commercial cooking surfaces and equipment
- 55-gallon drum with 2" and 3/4" bungs - connects to drum pumps and spray bottle refill stations for centralized dispensing
- 2-6 minutes of contact time - allows time to loosen grease before agitation and complete rinsing
- Total solubility in water - works with dilution, filter soaking, and spray application, then rinses from cleaned surfaces
- Specific Gravity of 1.03 gr/cc - gives procurement teams an exact physical specification for chemical planning and records
- Not regulated for DOT/IMDG/IATA - reduces transport classification paperwork for receiving and storage teams
MA5X Use Across High-Volume Foodservice Environments
MA5X is made for restaurants, institutional cafeterias, commissaries, hospitality kitchens, food production facilities, and other operations that clean ovens and grills regularly. For hood filters and grease traps, crews can apply a diluted solution or spray, agitate it, and follow label directions for the surface and soil level. Test before using it on aluminum because pH 13-14 chemistry can etch or pit the surface. Contact time should not exceed 10 minutes on most surfaces. Keep kitchen exhaust ventilation active during application because the formula contains 2-Butoxyethanol. Its GHS DANGER classification covers skin irritation, serious eye damage, possible allergic skin reaction, and respiratory irritation associated with sodium metasilicate. Remove the cleaner completely from cooking surfaces, grates, and all food-contact areas before applying heat or returning equipment to service.
