This 55 gallon drum of degreaser concentrate is made for removing grease, oil, carbon buildup, and industrial soils. MA5X Heavy-Duty Degreaser Black can be stored in a central chemical area and dispensed with drum pumps or proportioning systems. It is suitable for fleet wash bays, production floors, engine rooms, maintenance departments, and other high-frequency cleaning operations. Teams can adjust the dilution to suit the soil load and manage product use.
MA5X dilution, yield, and cleaning performance
This pH 12-13 alkaline liquid has short dwell times and two dilution options. Each drum makes 550-1,100 gallons of working solution, which makes chemical inventory easier to plan for recurring degreasing work.
- 550-1,100 gallons of working solution - supplies a high-volume cleaning program from one concentrated 55-gallon drum
- 1:10 dilution for heavy contamination - makes 550 gallons for grease, carbon buildup, and demanding industrial soil loads
- 1:20 dilution for routine maintenance - makes 1,100 gallons for lightly soiled surfaces and recurring cleaning cycles
- 2-6 minute dwell time - emulsifies grease and oils for shorter cleaning and rinse cycles
- Corrosion-inhibiting chemistry - helps protect ferrous metals, aluminum, stainless steel, and engine components during high-pH degreasing
- Standard 2" and 3/4" drum bungs - work with drum pumps, proportioning systems, and pallet storage in centralized chemical areas
MA5X use across industrial and commercial facilities
MA5X is suitable for fleet maintenance operations, truck and equipment wash bays, manufacturing plants, warehouses, engine rooms, transportation facilities, and production-floor maintenance programs. For heavy grease and carbon buildup, dilute the concentrate at 1:10 and apply it by spray, brush, or pressure washer. Leave it on for a 2-6 minute dwell time. Agitate compacted soils if needed, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. For routine maintenance on lightly soiled surfaces, use the 1:20 dilution to make more working solution for multiple service areas or facility locations.
