The Hawk Glide Freedom XHD 17" (F92-17-01) runs a 1.5 HP dual-capacitor motor through XHD-rated 11:1 helical-cut gears at 165 RPM.
XHD Drive System and Performance Specs
- 1.5 HP dual-capacitor, 7.1A, 165 RPM — draws 7.1 amps; 165 RPM is the standard low-speed buffer range for stripping and heavy scrubbing.
- XHD 11:1 helical-cut gears — the extra-heavy-duty gear rating handles the torsional loads of aggressive black pads, scrub brushes, and diamond abrasive applications.
- Floating Head WD design, forward-motion control
- 50-ft cord, 115V, 69 dB — 69 dB meets GS42 standard at operating speed.
