The Hawk F37-01-B 17" Brute Severe Duty Floor Machine is the standard configuration of Hawk's 180-frame severe-duty platform — the machine without weights or accessories, at 123 lb. The 1.5 HP, 180-frame TEFC dual-capacitor AC motor and XHD 11:1 triple-planetary helical-cut gears spin the 17" pad driver at 165 RPM under full load, and the all-steel welded frame provides the rigidity required for concrete resurfacing, stone polishing, and wood floor screening. Available in three finishes: Powder-Coat (F37-01-B), Chrome/Powder-Coat (F37-01-C), and Full Chrome (F37-CP).
F37-01-B Motor Frame and Finish Options
- 1.5 HP, 180-frame TEFC dual-capacitor motor — larger-frame motor than the 66-frame HD lineup; handles sustained torque demand from diamond tooling and abrasive screens without overheating
- XHD 11:1 triple-planetary helical-cut gears — industrial gear coupler is rated for severe-duty applications with optional horseshoe weights adding up to 50 lb of downforce
- Three finish options — Powder-Coat (F37-01-B), Chrome/Powder-Coat (F37-01-C), and Full Chrome (F37-CP) for chemical resistance in wet concrete and stone environments
- Dual voltage 115-230V, 60 Hz (50 Hz optional) — compatible with international job sites without modification
- 50 ft industrial power cord with cord lock — prevents disconnection during aggressive abrasive operations
Configuring the Brute for Specific Surface Prep Tasks
The F37-01-B ships without accessories, making it the right choice when contractors already own horseshoe weights, solution tanks, or diamond tooling from other machines in the Hawk Brute lineup. Accessories are interchangeable across the F37 family. For operators starting fresh, the F37-01-DX (Deluxe) or F37-01-PRO includes dual weights, a solution tank, and a splash guard. For standard commercial floor maintenance on VCT and tile, the lighter F17-01 HD (94 lb, 175 RPM) is more practical — the Brute's 180-frame motor and weight capacity are optimized for surface prep rather than maintenance buffing.

Cancellations: cancel any time before your order ships. Refunds are issued for the order total minus the non-refundable payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30), so a cancellation is not always a 100% refund. No fee is deducted if we cancel the order or the item arrives damaged or defective.
