The Hawk F37-01-DX 17" Brute Severe Duty Deluxe Floor Machine is the chrome-finish surface-prep package from Hawk's 180-frame lineup. Powered by a 1.5 HP, 180-frame TEFC dual-capacitor AC motor with XHD 11:1 triple-planetary helical-cut gears at 165 RPM, the DX configuration ships with dual 25 lb horseshoe weights, a 4-gallon solution tank, and a splash guard. The chrome motor cover and powder-coated brush cover distinguish it from the black-finish PRO configuration, while both share identical motor, gear, and weight specifications at 173 lb.
