The Ebac Orion 11270GR-US is a high-output commercial dehumidifier removing 105 pints per day with a two-stage air-to-air heat exchange cooling system — a design that pre-cools incoming air before it reaches the evaporator, increasing moisture removal efficiency per watt of power consumed. At 914 m³/hr airflow and 900W, it clears larger commercial spaces faster than single-stage units of similar size. The built-in GFI plug and reverse-cycle defrost allow immediate deployment at 33°F minimum operating temperature.

Where the Orion Is Deployed
Restoration contractors deploy the Orion in large open commercial spaces — retail floors, warehouses, and wide-span office areas — where smaller dehumidifiers would require multiple units to achieve adequate air turnover. The 914 m³/hr backward-curved fan moves air through the space efficiently, pulling moisture-laden air through the evaporator at a rate that keeps pace with high initial moisture loads from Category 2 and Category 3 water damage events. The integral condensate pump with purge feature eliminates pump-clearing downtime when moving the unit between jobs.
R454c Refrigerant and Compliance
The Orion uses R454c, a low-global-warming-potential refrigerant replacing R410A, which positions it ahead of upcoming EPA regulations phasing out high-GWP refrigerants in new commercial equipment. ETL and CETL listed. The extra-long power cord with built-in GFI plug reduces tripping hazard on job sites and provides GFCI protection without a separate adapter.
