The 30-gallon topper does the same job as the 55-gallon head on a smaller drum, which is what interior crews want when the work is down a hallway rather than out on open slab. It seats on drums up to 19 inches wide and includes the hose kit.
H0902 Drum Compatibility and Suction
Check the drum width before ordering — the seal is sized for a 19-inch body.
- Fits 30-gallon drums up to 19 inches wide — works with drums already on site instead of adding a full machine
- 124 inches of water lift — recovers standing slurry up to 100 feet from the drum
- 114 CFM airflow — the same head used on the 55-gallon topper, so recovery speed does not drop with the smaller drum
- Floater filter assembly — seals the intake as the drum fills and keeps water off the motor
- 39 lb head — light enough to lift off and reseat on a fresh drum
- 1.5" x 25 ft crush-resistant hose and squeegee — included, so reach is covered out of the box
H0902 Applications and Environments
Tile and flooring contractors run this on wet thinset and grout removal in occupied buildings. Small-area polishing crews use it where a 55-gallon drum will not fit through the access. Stone shops park one at the wet saw. The topper also pairs with dust shrouds for wet grinding, cutting, sawing and drilling, and recovering the slurry wet keeps it out of floor drains and sewer lines. It is designed to help contractors meet OSHA's respirable crystalline silica standard (29 CFR 1926.1153) when paired with an appropriately rated vacuum, and ships as the 120V topper, floater filter assembly and 1.5" x 25 ft hose kit.
