The DP-FS1237 clears a 40-inch path at 26,000 square feet an hour, picking up dust, grit, leaves and packaging debris into a 9-gallon hopper before any water touches the floor. DP-FS1237 Applications and Environments
Warehouses, factories, parking garages, retail floors and sidewalks are the usual work. The machine handles the transition indoor crews care about: sweeping a dock apron and then continuing inside without swapping equipment or dragging a cord. Facilities running a scrubber almost always need a sweeper ahead of it, because scrubbing over loose grit wears brushes fast and leaves a slurry line at the squeegee. Outdoor use is where the 9-gallon hopper earns its size, since leaves and litter fill volume far faster than fine dust does. Distribution sites tend to run it along dock aprons and trailer lanes first thing in the morning, where overnight debris collects against the building line. Parking garages are the other common application, and there the 65 dB rating and battery drive matter more than raw output, because a combustion sweeper in an enclosed deck raises ventilation problems. For facilities running both machines, sweeping the day's debris and scrubbing on a longer cycle is usually cheaper than scrubbing daily over grit.
