This activated carbon filter fits both the HG2500 Hydroxyl Generator and the HO3-2500 Hydroxyl & Ozone Generator. It's the same carbon pad in both units — so if you're running both at the same location, one SKU covers your inventory.
What Carbon Filtration Does in These Units
The carbon layer serves as a pre-filter: it adsorbs VOCs and larger organic compounds before they reach the photocatalytic chamber, which keeps the TiO₂ surface clean and extends UVC lamp efficiency. Without functional carbon filtration, the catalyst surface loads up faster and overall treatment effectiveness drops even if the lamp is still at full output.

Replacement Intervals by Environment
Standard office or hospitality use: replace every 6–12 months. Active restoration sites, cannabis facilities, or commercial kitchens: replace every 3–4 months. The filter won't show visible saturation — schedule replacements by time and environment type, not appearance. If odors return to treated spaces, that's the signal the carbon has reached capacity.
