The BGDC-19 runs a 1.5 HP DC rectified motor at 1,500 RPM on a 19-inch pad for high-speed burnishing of VCT, vinyl, tile, terrazzo, and sealed concrete. The DC rectified motor design eliminates startup torque issues, low-voltage drops, and brown-out conditions. A polished aluminum chassis, non-conductive dual triggers, and non-marring full-wrap bumpers complete the commercial-grade specification. Pad driver sold separately.

How Floor Burnishing Works
Floor burnishing generates heat and friction between the pad and floor finish, which momentarily melts and redistributes the finish to create a high-gloss surface.
Floor Burnisher Pad Selection
The pad driver is sold separately — required for operation. Tan or white burnishing pads are the usual choice for 1,500 RPM maintenance burnishing on VCT and vinyl. Red buffing pads suit spray buffing applications. Natural hair pads work on sealed terrazzo and marble. Pad hardness must match floor finish hardness — too aggressive a pad at high RPM removes finish rather than redistributing it.
