The TurboMax III steps a duct cleaning operation up to commercial trunk lines. A 3 HP inverter-rated motor turns a 12.3 in backward-inclined wheel to 5000 CFM free air and 3500 CFM through the filters at 6.3 in W.G. static, against 3000 and 2700 CFM on the TurboMax II. Variable speed, dual ammeters, and a change-HEPA light put the operator in control of how hard the machine pulls on a given branch.

• 3500 CFM filtered — 5000 CFM free air at 6.3 in W.G., which holds suction on commercial trunk lines a 2 HP machine cannot keep under negative pressure
• Dual ammeters — current on each circuit is visible, so an operator sees the load climb as the HEPA loads rather than finding out at the breaker

TurboMax III Applications and Environments

Hotels, schools and school districts, office buildings, hospitals, restaurants, and multi-family properties are where the TurboMax III earns its cost: long trunk lines and large plenums that a 2 HP machine cannot hold under suction. Contractors also use it on large custom homes where the system runs three or more air handlers. It pairs with the Cobra VII power brush system for the contact cleaning step, since commercial ductwork usually carries buildup that airflow alone will not release. Two dedicated 115 V, 20 A lines give full speed; on a single circuit, reduce speed rather than forcing the breaker. A 220 V option runs the machine at 7, 10, 13, or 18 A. The unit measures 19.5 in W x 29 in D x 55.5 in H and operates from 25 to 125 °F, with three-year coverage and one year on the vacuum motors and power inverter.
