The 9100 Turbo pulls up to 2500 CFM on high through three-stage 99.97% HEPA filtration, putting it at the top of Aerospace America's negative-air lineup for large containments. It draws 15 amps from a 115V circuit to drive a 1.75 HP two-speed motor, more than the 1.0 HP scrubbers in the range, which is what lets it hold negative pressure across a big enclosure. Abatement and large-loss restoration crews run it where a 2000 CFM-class unit would fall short on air changes.

How does the 9100 Turbo negative air machine work?
The 9100 pulls air through a three-stage filter train ending in a 99.97% HEPA filter, then exhausts it. By ducting that exhaust outside a sealed space, it lowers the pressure inside relative to surrounding areas, creating negative pressure that keeps contaminants from escaping. It moves 2500 CFM on high and 2100 CFM on low at 2.2 static pressure.
What is the difference between an air scrubber and a negative air machine?
An air scrubber recirculates and cleans air inside the room. A negative air machine like the 9100 ducts its filtered exhaust outside the containment area to create negative pressure, which holds contaminants inside the work zone. The 9100 can run either way depending on whether you exhaust it out or let it recirculate.
Where do you vent the 9100?
For containment, run the exhaust out of the sealed area through ducting so the filtered air leaves and the work zone stays under negative pressure. The unit's HEPA stage is rated 99.97% and is D.O.P. tested at the factory, so the exhausted air is filtered before it leaves.
How often do you change the filters on the 9100?
Clean the 24x24 pre-filter every 2 weeks to 3 months and replace it every 1 to 2 years. Vacuum the HEPA every 2 to 3 months and replace it between every 3 months and 2 years depending on dust load. Use the minihelic gauge to track restriction.
Can you run the 9100 continuously?
Yes. The 1.75 HP two-speed motor is thermal protected for the long runtimes that containment and remediation jobs demand. It draws 115 volts at 15 amps on high speed.
Does the 9100 remove odors?
The standard three-stage train targets particles, not gases. For odor control, add an activated carbon stage; the 2000 CFM series carbon and carbon-Webb filters fit this platform and adsorb odor-causing compounds as air passes through.
