Abatement Technologies Air Filtration Equipment
Abatement Technologies Negative Air Machines
Abatement Technologies negative air machines create and maintain negative pressure inside containment areas during hazardous material removal. Air drawn from the work zone passes through a series of pre-filters and a final HEPA filter before exhausting outside the building — preventing asbestos fibers, lead dust, and mold spores from migrating to unaffected areas. Capacity runs from the Predator PRED-750 and HEPA-AIRE PAS750 at 750 CFM through the PAS1700 (1,650 CFM) and PAS2400 (2,100 CFM) up to the industrial PAS5000 at 4,000 CFM. Match the unit to containment volume and your target air changes per hour.
HEPA Air Scrubbers for Hazardous Material Control
When negative pressure is not required or not feasible, Abatement Technologies air scrubbers recirculate room air through multi-stage filtration to reduce airborne particle concentrations during abatement or demolition work. Three-stage units use a washable pre-filter, a 95% efficiency intermediate filter, and a HEPA final filter rated at 99.97% efficiency for particles 0.3 microns and larger — capturing asbestos fibers, lead fumes, and mold spores that exceed OSHA permissible exposure limits. Many models accept activated carbon modules for VOC and odor control during mold remediation.

Choosing the Right Abatement Technologies Model
Select unit capacity based on containment volume and the required number of air changes per hour — EPA guidelines typically require a minimum of four air changes per hour in asbestos abatement work areas. For large containments, multiple units operating simultaneously provide redundancy and more uniform negative pressure distribution. Abatement Technologies units feature four-point filtration access panels, stackable housings for compact job site storage, and industry-standard 10-inch exhaust duct fittings compatible with commonly available flex duct.
