Namco Parts and Accessories for FloorWash Scrubbers and Scooter Extractors
Brush Sets, Hoses, and Vacuum Motors
These parts keep the Namco commercial line running: FloorWash 1000, FloorWash 5000, and the 14-inch and 17-inch auto scrubbers, plus the Scooter carpet extractor range. Brush sets ship in matched pairs in black or grey for each FloorWash path width, since the two sides counter-rotate and wear evenly only when replaced together. Solution hoses run 1/4-inch yellow in 25-foot and 50-foot lengths for the pressure side, and vacuum hoses run 1.5-inch yellow in the same lengths for recovery, so confirm which line you are replacing before ordering because the two diameters do not interchange. Replacement vacuum motors come in 2-stage and 3-stage versions with a 2-inch hose connector; the 3-stage motor pulls more water lift for heavier extraction work, while the 2-stage is the correct fit where the machine shipped with one.
Carpet Extractor and Steam Cleaner Wands
Wand and tool selection comes down to the job and the machine. The 3-inch upholstery and stain tool handles seats, stairs, and spot work off a Scooter extractor, while the plastic pre-spray guns in 20-inch and 24-inch lengths lay down traffic-lane cleaner ahead of the wand. The truck-mount S-bend floor wand fits high-flow extraction setups where a self-contained deck cannot reach. Stainless steel steam floor wands come in 12-inch single-jet, 12-inch deluxe 2-jet, and 13-inch squeegee versions, with the 2-jet covering ground faster on open floors and the squeegee version pulling moisture back on sealed surfaces. The A58120 120 PSI replacement pump rebuilds solution pressure on extractors that have lost output, which is usually the fix when a machine sprays weak but the vacuum still recovers normally.

Matching Parts by Model and Path Width
Brush sets are model and width specific. The 4587 set fits the FloorWash 1000, the 4588 set fits the FloorWash 5000, and the FB45 sets fit the 14-inch and 17-inch machines, so order by the model on the data plate rather than by diameter alone. Hose and motor connectors are sized to the 2-inch and 1.5-inch fittings the machines ship with, and a mismatched cuff will not seal. Every Namco part carries a catalog code printed on the part and listed in the operator manual, like 4587B, P262A, P340B, or A58120, and that code is the reliable cross-reference when a generic description leaves the fit unclear. When a part could fit more than one machine, check the path width and the connector size against your unit before ordering.

Brio Air Filtration = Game Changer
Located in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, we acquired our Brio Air Filter in mid-late Spring of this year (2023) when pollen count was high and we were beginning to experience the effects of Poor Air Quality Index as a result of smoke particulates from fires in Canada that caused the air in much of Minnesota to become hazy and simply dirty.
It is so easy to share our experience with the Brio Air Filter given how quickly and efficiently it removed pollen, dust, and smoke particles from the environment inside our home. Two people in our home who suffer from pollen-related allergies during the spring immediately experienced easier breathing and elimination of symptoms within the house. With respect to smoke particulates from Canada drifting into our environment, EVERYONE in our home experienced directly improved breathing and smell of the air when entering from outside.
An additional piece of information to account for is that we have always employed high grade furnace filters in our home’s central HVAC system. With that high grade filtration in place both prior to and after acquiring a Brio home air filter, we all quickly agreed that deploying the Brio in our home made an easily noticeable positive difference in breathing inside our home. Additionally, those of us who clean our home have observed that dust builds up slower on our floors and furniture than before we deployed the Brio unit.
We did note that the Brio is not as quiet as a few other brands/models on the market that we have tried in our home but the efficiency and quality of the filtration, along with the air turnover rate it provides,allows us to locate the Brio unit in central rooms away from the bedrooms. Since we made that change there has been no noise-related effect on our sleep, while the unit maintains the same level of air cleanliness throughout our home.
A last key point to make is how easy the Brio unit is to maintain. The simplicity of the modular construction of the Brio unit makes it very quick and easy to keep the filtration sections clean. We have not yet reached a point of filter replacement but it is obvious to us that the replacement will take a matter of seconds and can be executed by anyone in our home, including our 10-year-old son.
