MR-100 Primo Canister Steam Cleaner — Chemical-Free Sanitization with 60-Minute Continuous Runtime
The Vapamore MR-100 Primo is a fixed-tank canister steam cleaner rated at 50 PSI and 210–220°F — above the temperature threshold where most pathogens are neutralized by dry heat. The 1.6-liter stainless steel boiler delivers 50–60 minutes of continuous steam per fill at 40 grams per minute flow, running on a standard 120V 15-amp circuit. At 10.5 lbs with an 18 ft power cord and 6 ft steam hose, it covers a standard room without repositioning and fits into upholstered furniture, floor grout lines, kitchen appliances, and fabric surfaces using the 17-piece accessory kit that ships with the unit.
MR-100 Primo Steam Output and Control System
The solenoid-operated steam valve and adjustable output level are the two features that allow operators to work on delicate surfaces without scorching and on heavy buildup without underpowering the machine.
50 PSI max pressure at 210–220°F — dry steam above the 212°F thermal sanitization threshold; kills dust mites, bed bugs, and surface bacteria on contact without chemicals
Solenoid-operated steam control — maintains consistent output pressure rather than relying on a manual valve that drifts; no pulsing or pressure spikes during operation
Adjustable steam output levels — dial down for silk drapes and wallpaper; dial up for tile grout and oven interiors without switching machines
1.6-liter stainless steel boiler, 11-minute heat-up — ready to use within standard job setup time; stainless interior resists scale buildup better than aluminum alternatives
30 dB operating noise — quiet enough to run in occupied residential spaces, hotel rooms, and offices without disturbing occupants
10 ft total reach (18 ft cord + 6 ft hose) — covers a standard 12 × 12 room without moving the unit; moves to a new outlet for larger spaces
MR-100 Primo Applications and Environments
Residential cleaning services and housekeeping teams in hotels and short-term rental properties use the MR-100 Primo for turnovers where chemical residue on bedding, upholstery, or food-contact surfaces is unacceptable. Pest control operators and property managers handling bed bug treatments use the 210–220°F output to treat mattress seams, box springs, and baseboards. Facilities serving immunocompromised occupants — senior living communities, allergy treatment clinics, and pediatric facilities — rely on steam sanitization where cleaning product off-gassing creates compliance problems. The 30 dB noise floor and chemical-free process mean it can run in occupied rooms without evacuation.
MR-100 Primo Steam Temperature, PSI, and Accessory Kit
The MR-100 Primo produces dry steam at 50 PSI max and 210–220°F boiler temperature — above the 212°F threshold for thermal inactivation of most pathogens including dust mites and bed bug eggs. The fixed tank requires a full shutdown and cool-down to refill; plan fill intervals at 50–60 minute marks. ETL certified for North American use. The 17-piece accessory kit includes floor head, triangle corner brush, two extension tubes, carpet slider, microfiber floor pad, jet nozzle, detail scraper, nylon grout brush, medium and large nylon brushes, brass metal brush, clothes and fabric tool with cotton cover, smooth surface squeegee, water level dipstick, measuring cup, fill funnel, and accessory storage bag.
Does the Vapamore MR-100 Primo have continuous fill capability?
No. The MR-100 Primo uses a fixed 1.6-liter stainless steel boiler. Refilling requires shutting the unit down and waiting for it to cool before adding water. Each fill provides 50–60 minutes of steam runtime. For jobs requiring uninterrupted operation, plan refill intervals accordingly.
What steam temperature and pressure does the MR-100 Primo produce?
The MR-100 Primo produces steam at 210–220°F and up to 50 PSI (3.5 bar). These temperatures exceed the 212°F threshold for thermal inactivation of most pathogens, including dust mite allergens and bed bug eggs.
How long does the MR-100 Primo take to heat up?
The unit reaches operating temperature in approximately 11 minutes from cold. Once ready, the solenoid-operated steam valve provides consistent output without manual adjustment to maintain pressure.
Is the MR-100 Primo effective against bed bugs?
Yes. The 210–220°F steam temperature is sufficient to kill bed bugs and their eggs on contact when the steam is applied directly to harborage areas — mattress seams, box springs, and baseboards. Slow, deliberate passes are required; fast passes may not transfer enough heat to penetrate fabric layers.
What accessories are included with the Vapamore MR-100 Primo?
The MR-100 Primo ships with 17 accessories: floor head, triangle corner brush, two extension tubes, carpet slider, microfiber floor pad, jet nozzle, detail scraper, nylon grout brush, medium and large nylon brushes, brass metal brush, clothes and fabric tool with cotton cover, smooth surface squeegee, water level dipstick, measuring cup, fill funnel, and accessory storage bag.
What is the noise level of the MR-100 Primo during operation?
The MR-100 Primo operates at approximately 30 dB — comparable to ambient background noise in a quiet room. This allows use in occupied hotel rooms, residential spaces, and medical offices without disturbing occupants.
Is the Vapamore MR-100 Primo ETL certified?
Yes. The MR-100 Primo carries ETL certification for electrical safety in North America. It runs on standard 120V 60 Hz household current at 1500W, drawing approximately 12.5 amps — compatible with a standard 15-amp circuit.

Located in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, we acquired our Brio Air Filter in mid-late Spring of this year (2023) when pollen count was high and we were beginning to experience the effects of Poor Air Quality Index as a result of smoke particulates from fires in Canada that caused the air in much of Minnesota to become hazy and simply dirty.
It is so easy to share our experience with the Brio Air Filter given how quickly and efficiently it removed pollen, dust, and smoke particles from the environment inside our home. Two people in our home who suffer from pollen-related allergies during the spring immediately experienced easier breathing and elimination of symptoms within the house. With respect to smoke particulates from Canada drifting into our environment, EVERYONE in our home experienced directly improved breathing and smell of the air when entering from outside.
An additional piece of information to account for is that we have always employed high grade furnace filters in our home’s central HVAC system. With that high grade filtration in place both prior to and after acquiring a Brio home air filter, we all quickly agreed that deploying the Brio in our home made an easily noticeable positive difference in breathing inside our home. Additionally, those of us who clean our home have observed that dust builds up slower on our floors and furniture than before we deployed the Brio unit.
We did note that the Brio is not as quiet as a few other brands/models on the market that we have tried in our home but the efficiency and quality of the filtration, along with the air turnover rate it provides, allows us to locate the Brio unit in central rooms away from the bedrooms. Since we made that change there has been no noise-related effect on our sleep, while the unit maintains the same level of air cleanliness throughout our home.
A last key point to make is how easy the Brio unit is to maintain. The simplicity of the modular construction of the Brio unit makes it very quick and easy to keep the filtration sections clean. We have not yet reached a point of filter replacement but it is obvious to us that the replacement will take a matter of seconds and can be executed by anyone in our home, including our 10-year-old son.
It seems to help reduce my allergy issues. We're glad we bought it. The only problem I had was not seeing any cubic footage recommendations in the online description when purchasing the unit. Bedrooms vary widely in size!!
