Flood & Water Extraction
Flood water extraction equipment removes standing water from flooded structures in the critical first hours after a water damage incident, before secondary damage and mold growth compound the loss. High-capacity portable extractors and truck-mount compatible machines rated for rapid water removal. Used by restoration contractors following IICRC S500 water damage response protocols.

What separates a professional water extractor from a consumer wet-dry vac?
Volume and duty cycle. A professional water extraction machine pulls 100 to 200 gallons per hour through a wide-diameter hose, compared to 10 to 20 gallons for a standard shop vac. When a restoration contractor is working a flooded basement or a property manager is responding to a burst pipe, that gap translates to hours of labor and thousands of dollars in secondary damage — warped subfloor, mold activation, claim escalation. The IICRC S500 Standard for Professional Water Damage Restoration defines category and class of water damage based on contamination level and affected area, and those classifications directly determine the extraction equipment class required. Category 2 and 3 losses demand self-priming truck-mount or portable extractor units that can handle particulate-laden water without motor damage.
Namco Manufacturing and Sandia extractors are built for this work. Their stainless steel recovery tanks resist the corrosive gray and black water common in flood events, and their two-stage vacuum motors maintain suction as tanks fill. Mosquito America units handle outdoor standing water and landscape drainage where conventional extractors lack the reach. All units ship with standard 1.5-inch or 2-inch hose fittings compatible with professional wand sets.
How much water can these machines remove before drying equipment needs to take over?
Extraction handles bulk water removal — the visible standing water and the water saturating carpet, pad, and the top layer of hardwood or concrete. Once bulk water is out, moisture remains trapped in wall cavities, subfloor assemblies, and below-grade concrete. That is where air movers and dehumidifiers take over. The EPA recommends beginning drying within 24 to 48 hours of water intrusion to prevent mold colonization, which means extraction speed is not just a labor efficiency question — it is a mold prevention question. A high-capacity extractor clears standing water in the first two to four hours of a job, giving drying equipment the full first night to begin structural moisture draw-down.
For large commercial losses — a flooded warehouse floor, a school gymnasium, a hotel corridor — XPOWER air movers run alongside or immediately after extraction to accelerate evaporation from hard surfaces. The combination of fast extraction and high-volume airflow is standard practice in commercial water damage work.

Which extractor is right for the job size and water type?
Match the unit to three variables: tank capacity, motor stage count, and hose diameter. For single-room residential losses under 500 square feet, a 20-gallon portable with a single two-stage motor handles the work efficiently. For multi-room or full-floor commercial losses, a 55-gallon unit with dual motors reduces empty cycles and keeps extraction continuous. For outdoor or construction site standing water where debris is present, a trash pump attachment or a debris-rated extractor prevents motor damage from solids. OSHA flood response guidelines also require consideration of electrical hazard in standing water — all units in this collection are rated for wet environment use, and all should be operated with appropriate PPE when Category 2 or 3 water is present. Contact us with job site details if you need help matching capacity to loss size.

Gets the job done without hassle. This vacuum is powerful and reliable for everyday cleaning. Definitely recommend it.
we have three cats, and this purifier has done wonders in removing pet odors and dander
Located in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, we acquired our Brio Air Filter in mid-late Spring of this year (2023) when pollen count was high and we were beginning to experience the effects of Poor Air Quality Index as a result of smoke particulates from fires in Canada that caused the air in much of Minnesota to become hazy and simply dirty.
It is so easy to share our experience with the Brio Air Filter given how quickly and efficiently it removed pollen, dust, and smoke particles from the environment inside our home. Two people in our home who suffer from pollen-related allergies during the spring immediately experienced easier breathing and elimination of symptoms within the house. With respect to smoke particulates from Canada drifting into our environment, EVERYONE in our home experienced directly improved breathing and smell of the air when entering from outside.
An additional piece of information to account for is that we have always employed high grade furnace filters in our home’s central HVAC system. With that high grade filtration in place both prior to and after acquiring a Brio home air filter, we all quickly agreed that deploying the Brio in our home made an easily noticeable positive difference in breathing inside our home. Additionally, those of us who clean our home have observed that dust builds up slower on our floors and furniture than before we deployed the Brio unit.
We did note that the Brio is not as quiet as a few other brands/models on the market that we have tried in our home but the efficiency and quality of the filtration, along with the air turnover rate it provides, allows us to locate the Brio unit in central rooms away from the bedrooms. Since we made that change there has been no noise-related effect on our sleep, while the unit maintains the same level of air cleanliness throughout our home.
A last key point to make is how easy the Brio unit is to maintain. The simplicity of the modular construction of the Brio unit makes it very quick and easy to keep the filtration sections clean. We have not yet reached a point of filter replacement but it is obvious to us that the replacement will take a matter of seconds and can be executed by anyone in our home, including our 10-year-old son.
this bedroom purifier has transformed my sleep quality. the air is so much fresher and cleaner worth every penny
very customer friendly and professional design.
perfect for maneuvering in tight areas the HEPA filter is a huge bonus
It seems to help reduce my allergy issues. We're glad we bought it. The only problem I had was not seeing any cubic footage recommendations in the online description when purchasing the unit. Bedrooms vary widely in size!!
This vacuum has exceeded my expectations. It's super powerful and handles daily cleaning with ease. I recommend it to everyone.
really effective in sweeping up all kinds of debris from our warehouse floor
